President’s View……

This is great day. I am very glad revealing that Al Haj Abdul Jawadh Alim Waliullah Trust has been registered and enacted by the Parliament of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on 09.09.2009. 

The reason is why this Trust was name such. In 1940 late Al Haj Abdul Jawadh Alim Waliullah, being the founder, established Al Madhrasathul Rahmaniyya, a Holy Qur’an school in this place. Gradually mosques, Qur’an schools and other institutions were adjoined and developed along with it.

This Trust is being administered by the Board of Management of 11 members under my chairmanship. There are 11 institutions operating under this Board. Funds are collected through contributions.

All its incorporated institutions are guided and counseled towards the communal unity by preaching and following the path of non-violence “Islamic Sufi doctrine”.

Our tasks fulfilled and services are accomplished in the basis of the path Sufi Doctrine and the principles of Sunnath Wal Jama’ath. Its core tasks are not only maintains mosques, reciting Mowlids (praises), offering almsgiving, providing religious education such as Holy Qur’an schools but also it conducts job related training, educational developments activities, grating emergency aids. In particular, it firmly maintains the alliance with other communities.

Badhriyyah Jummah Mosque is one the incorporated institutions, positioned in Kattankudy-05, is now being built with the financial assistance of public throughout the country. The construction of this three storey mosque has been estimated for many million rupees and now left after partially completed. Thus, I humbly request all the philanthropists to assist us financially to complete the construction of this mosque as well as to maintain the 11 institutions under our management. In addition, I kindly request you to join hand with us to implement our social development projects in future.
